The paper industry is one of the largest polluters in the world, and is the third largest user of energy in the United States today. The strain on the environment of consuming large quantities of paper is monumental. The best way to minimize the negative effects of paper use on the environment is to recycle and reuse paper in order to save our trees and forests.

For every ton of paper recycled, approximately seventeen trees are saved.
